I have worked as a professional photographer since 2000 starting with wedding and portrait shoots.
Since then I have expanded my capabilities to include commercial photography, fusion video and video production.
In 2013, I transitioned full-time to my craft.
Trained traditionally as an artist in composition, drawing and design, I firmly believe the two most important tenets of good photography and videography are composition and lighting. The latter being essential because the understanding of light is key to the production of high-quality imagery.
I hold a teaching degree from UW River Falls, Master's Degree from Hamline, and hold advanced degrees in photography and media arts education.
